Event Requirements

Requirements
- Entrants should be a member of a VMC member organization (e.g. VSCCA, VRG, VARAC, etc.)
- Competition License not required but if you do not have any hill climb or track experience please contact the Event Chair Scott Fenley
- Current medical is not required.
- Cars do not have to be have a VSCCA log book but the Event Chair will approve non-logbook cars on a case by case basis and may accept appropriate cars through 1973. (1973 is used as a cutoff as the SCCA ran the event until then.)
- All cars must pass tech inspection prior to the event.

Useful information, especially for new entrants:
Tentative Schedule:
Friday
4pm Tech inspection and registration
5pm Mandatory First Time Participant Orientation
5 - 6pm Skyline drive will be open to all participants and guests
6 - 7:30pm Reception at the control tent at the base of the mountain
Saturday
7:30 - 9am Tech inspection and registration
9am Mandatory Drivers' Meeting
9:30am - 4pm Run sessions (with break for lunch)
6pm Cocktail reception TBA
7pm Dinner TBA
Entrants will receive a complete information package in advance of the event.
Places to stay:
There is a wide variety of accommodations in this very popular tourist area. Demand can be very high, so please book your rooms early.
The Arlington Inn: This is where Saturday night's dinner is. It is on the pricer side and I do believe they require a 2 night minimum but Eric and Elizabeth will treat you well.
The Arcady at Sunderland: This is the closest inn to the event and only a half mile or so away. (New owners).
There are several inns to the North on Rt 7A that attendees use: Northshire Lodge, Brittany Inn, Weathervane Motel, The Manchester Inn and the really high end, Equinox.
Trailer parking:
There is plenty of trailer parking directly across the road from the paddock but it is only accessible for small trailers, i.e. typical single car open or closed trailers. There is NO CAMPING in the trailer parking area.
Space for motorhomes or large, multicar trailers is very limited. Please check with the Event Chair if you intend to bring a motorhome.
Food: Friday night reception (drinks and hors d'oeuvres) and lunch on Saturday are included. You are on your own for Friday night dinner and Sunday lunch. Saturday dinner at the Arlington is a separate entry and not included in the entry fee.
Equinox Driver's Club car badges will be awarded to first-timers.
Fuel: Very important: THERE IS NO RACE FUEL! you must bring your own.
